KEENËR is a multi-disciplinary artist, who is quickly being recognized as one of the most thought provoking and compelling new names in music.

Insightful, stimulating and sensitive, his songs can be seen as poetic meditations on a interdimensional journey. With an expansive set of influences that range from Golden Age hip hop and progressive rock and metal, to classical and spiritual traditions from both east and west, his art and music reflects the wisdom of the past in light of contemporary experience, his voice is both a bridge and a beacon, it serves to pay reverence to the past while shedding light on a new path of cultural evolution. 

He began writing poetry at a very early age and his innate love for that art form has only grown over the years. His lyrics are imbued with a gravitas that is juxtaposed with faith and inspiration. His dedication to his craft can be seen in the cerebral nature of his intricate and precise lyricism, which is indicative of his early influences, which includes hip hop legends The Wu Tang Clan and the inimitable Eminem. There is also a raw and visceral element to his vocals, which has been inspired by the likes of Zack De La Rocha from RATM and an earnest sincerity inspired by the edifying work of Maynard James Keenan.

He describes his art as ‘a carefully crafted lens of discernment that seeks to see things as they truly are not as they may appear to be’. Relying on personal experience and objective awareness as a frame of reference for interpreting the nature of the one fundamental reality.
